Foundation in Science

Course Overview

The Foundation in Science Program at City University Malaysia enhances student's quantitative reasoning and problem-solving skills in physics, which are valuable beyond the field itself. The program prepares students for the Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences (Hons) and Bachelor of Occupational Safety & Health (Hons) degree programs It prepares students for various career opportunities in academia, government, or the private sector, where they can contribute to scientific and technological advancements.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

To be eligible for the Foundation in Science (Physical Science) Program, applicants must meet the following academic requirements:

SPM/SPMV/O-Level: Obtain a minimum grade B in the following subjects:

• Biology

• Physics

• Mathematics

• Chemistry

• English

Additionally, fulfilling a minimum grade requirement in Additional Mathematics (Add Maths) may be necessary for acceptance into the Biomedical Programme.
